JOIN THE PARAGON TEAM

A paragon is the highest example of excellence in its field. If that standard resonates with you, we want to hear from you.

Paragon Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned, single-location outpatient orthopedic clinic in Pinehurst, NC — home to the US Open, USGA headquarters, and one of the most active athletic and golf communities in the Southeast. We also serve competitive athletes, active military and veterans, and patients who travel specifically to Pinehurst for specialized care.

We practice physical therapy the way it is supposed to be practiced: one patient at a time, with full clinical autonomy, advanced techniques, and the time to actually make a difference. If you are tired of productivity quotas, double-booking, and treating patients like numbers — this is a different kind of practice.

Physical Therapy Technician | $13–$15/hour | Part-Time or Full-Time

Part-time or full-time • Monday–Friday • No evenings or weekends • Pinehurst, NC

If you are considering a career in physical therapy, athletic training, or another rehab science, this is one of the best positions available to build your foundation. As a PT Tech at Paragon Physical Therapy, you will work directly alongside experienced, specialty-certified physical therapists in a one-on-one clinical environment — observing and assisting with hands-on care that most techs at larger clinics simply never get to see.

This is not a front-desk job. You will be on the clinic floor, learning from clinicians who practice at a genuinely advanced level, every day.

What You’ll Do

✓ Assist physical therapists with patient setup, exercise instruction, and equipment preparation
✓ Observe and support one-on-one treatment sessions across a broad range of orthopedic and neurological conditions
✓ Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment environment
✓ Help patients with check-in, exercise programs, and general clinic flow
✓ Support administrative tasks including scheduling and patient communication as needed
✓ Participate in clinic education — we actively teach our techs about what we’re doing and why

What You’ll Be Exposed To

Working at Paragon gives you clinical exposure that is genuinely uncommon for a tech position. You will regularly observe:

✓ Fascial Manipulation — Stecco Method (Levels I–IV)
✓ Dry Needling — trigger point, static, and neuropathic techniques
✓ Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training
✓ Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) golf assessments
✓ Vestibular Rehabilitation and vertigo treatment
✓ Post-Surgical Orthopedic Rehabilitation
✓ Pelvic Health Physical Therapy

Qualifications

✓ Currently enrolled in or planning to pursue PT, OT, athletic training, exercise science, or a related program — OR a strong demonstrated interest in rehab science as a career
✓ Reliable, punctual, and professional in a clinical setting
✓ Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you will interact with patients daily
✓ Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
✓ No prior clinical experience required — enthusiasm and work ethic matter most

What We Offer

✓ $13–$15/hour based on experience
✓ Part-time or full-time scheduling based on your availability
✓ Monday–Friday only — no evenings, no weekends
✓ Direct daily exposure to advanced, specialty-certified physical therapy
✓ Clinical observation hours for PT/OT/ATC school applications
✓ Letters of recommendation available for qualified applicants
✓ A supportive team that actively invests in your professional growth
